1,3-dichlorbenzene

Details

Chemical properties: colorless liquid. Soluble in ethanol and ether, insoluble in water.
Uses:
1. o-Dichlorobenzene is an important organic chemical raw material. In pesticides, it is the raw material of the insecticide trichlorobenzene, used to synthesize its intermediate 1-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-2,2,2-trichloroethanol, and can also synthesize another important pesticide intermediate o-phenylenediamine. In addition, it is also used as a solvent in dyes, medicines, resins, rubbers and other operations, or as a rust remover, degreasing agent, etc. 2. Used in dye manufacturing, and also used as an organic synthesis intermediate and solvent. Uses: widely used as an intermediate in dyes, medicines, pesticides and other industries. Uses: o-Dichlorobenzene is an important organic synthesis raw material, a raw material for fungicides imazalil, propiconazole, and ethochlore, and a raw material for insecticide chlorpyrifos.
3. Used in organic synthesis. Meta-dichlorobenzene and chloroacetyl chloride undergo Friedel-Crafts reaction to obtain 2,4,ω-trichloroacetophenone, which is used as an intermediate for the broad-spectrum antifungal drug miconazole. The chlorination reaction is carried out in the presence of ferric chloride or aluminum mercury to mainly produce 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene. In the presence of a catalyst, it is hydrolyzed at 550-850℃ to produce meta-chlorophenol and resorcinol. With copper oxide as a catalyst, it reacts with concentrated ammonia water at 150-200℃ under pressure to produce meta-phenylenediamine.
