Dimethyl 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate is a liquid with good solubility and low volatility. Soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols and ethers, insoluble in water.

2. Used for producing plastic products such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It can also be used as a component in synthetic coatings, adhesives, and resins.
